Motor Racing Experience at Highlands Motorsport Park – Saturday 10th October

We have confirmed the drive of the Ford Mustang, at Highlands Motorsport Park, in Cromwell for Saturday the 10th October. The sessions start at 8.30am and there is a drive every ½ hour.

There are very limited numbers so if you are interested please let Brett know asap to secure a drive.

The Mustang has a side Intrusion bar to get over and into the car.

The seat is also a bit of a drop from the intrusion bar.

If you struggle with transfers YOU MUST have at least 1 caregiver (2 is preferable) to help you in the car.

See the attached picture for the style of the push-pull hand-control. If you need to practice with a glove for the hand-controls, the size is the same as most std push-pull or radial hand-controls.

There is a spinner that can be fitted or removed easily depending on people’s preference. If you have a splint with a pin bring it with you and this can be used. Due to the shape of the steering wheel it is not at an optimum position

If you have an able-bodied friend they can go for a drive in the Radical. However we cannot offer the same discount for this.
